From the junction of Stock Road and Russell Road, north along Stock Road to Yangebup Road, west along Yangebup Road to Rockingham Road, north along Rockingham Road to Troode Street, west along Troode Street to Hamilton Road, north along Hamilton Road to King Street, west along King Street to Hillcrest Street, south along Hillcrest Street to Beach Road, west along Beach Road to Cockburn Road, north along Cockburn Road to Powell Road, west along Powell Road and its extension to the Indian Ocean. The boundary streets of Troode Street (both sides), King Street (both sides), Hillcrest Street (both sides) and Beach Road (both sides) are excluded from the area for this school. The boundary parts of Stock Road (west side), Yangebup Road (south side), Rockingham Road (west side) and Hamilton Road (west side) are included within the local-intake area for Coogee Primary School.

Whilst Coogee Primary is a local in-take school many enquiries are received from parents from outside of our boundaries and the most common reasons given for this are our positive reputation for student welfare, quality education programs, inclusivity, and behaviour management.

The decision on accepting out of boundary enrolments is at the principal’s discretion and based on available places in classes, as stated in the School Education Act. However, the number of students in a class must be in accordance with the Industrial Agreement between the Department of Education and the WA Teachers’ Union.
