The Association’s purpose is:
Welcome to Coogee Primary School’s Parents and Citizens Association
The Parent and Citizen Association is run by a group of passionate volunteers to promote educational, moral, physical and social wellbeing of our students, parents and the wider school community.
Enhancing our children’s learning environment and fostering friendships is at the core of our School’s P&C. A number of activities are held throughout the year; some are to raise funds to be invested into the school for the benefit of students, some are purely to provide social gatherings or to provide support for the school.
In 2019, the P&C raised over $50,000 which was used to fund the undercover area enclosure, Coogee Gardens project, the students’ end of year awards and costs involved in several school events. In November, the School’s 125th Anniversary was celebrated with a community-wide Family Fun Day with festivities such as bouncy castles, face-painting, food trucks as well as live entertainment.
The monthly meetings provide an open forum for discussion and are a great way to keep informed of the school’s activities.
